Dear Mr President Biden,

Re: Acknowledging the question suggested in the Economist’s The World Ahead 2023

Thank you for the recent response via the Economist’s The World Ahead 2023 concerning my proposal as related to the upraising of town, city, state, and country.  For the repeated visit to the country where I am, and for the generous offer with the audience that includes this country of Canada’s prime minister, please understand my great appreciation and gratitude.  The notion that the nation has been strong and thus the strength needs adjustments manifold is one that can be discerned by all audiences on the public wires including Twitter.  Of course, the questions issued from around the world are effected variously, but that we could find the affordance to address each in turn upon the pace that soars yet reduces us not is inviolable.

This notion that the raising up of nation could not falter over time is one that must find engagement over its many aspects and dimensions where relevance exists.  Even though it is a question that is very tough to answer in a single letter, I shall find an attempt here, addressing the depth of the status of being American and allude to the history of the company.

The totality of citizenry is called citizenship.  The historical cultural memory of a “-ship” is the very associative principle which underpins the formative balance provisory to the output in the Made.  Whether with or without account, the associative notion remains amidst change, as had been there before and behind all events in America and from here that supply the raise and advancement of the country.  Viewing thus from the force of the citizenry, not inert power, nor a power to which resort only is found, the condition of the democracy of America is founded in the togetherness in action and in essence.

Were circumstances not so dynamic in the meanwhile, nor crises finding us, our motion would be upon seas which are calm.  Yet even an ark of scale, at times through turbulent seas the boat would find itself.  It is foreseeable from the past that at these incidences, it may be “all hands on deck”, but in others, some of us will and perhaps must stay our own individual course, to maintain the various which must receive attention for the affairs remain to the utmost.  The powers of the nation do not shift so much that one could say in earnestness “but the world has changed”, because the world in truth does not shift all so much in an instant - that is the reason why I still believe in the role of diplomatic conversation at all levels.  In Russia, we continue to observe one to one conversation with Mr Putin and other heads of states, despite that fares related to conflict have erupted.  Stability transpires in our own country such that the economic conditions remain at the forefront, but the advancement continues that offices need now be both old and new as well as adjusted to the scapes being formalized.

Where convergence might be between the national narrative and the action of citizens at scale, whether across a city or between cities, or at the level of a state, towards the field spanning between coasts, is a factor I find to be major, or as the younger people do say, “majorly prominent.”  

The emergence of the notion of duty and service may be a path on which we discover an avenue for such as “convergence.”  It is with this in mind that my proposal for an ordering called “Uncle Sam’s Studio” was initiated.  The essential preconception that underlies it is the call for these brave men and women who are today roughing through the new social terrains, with the call being respectful and with due consideration.  It is related to the call from the West Coast that “content” is needed to be generated.  Yet, the very content of such “content” requires guidence as well as suggestions, if the generators are to find coordination with each other, with the objectives clearly on the horizon for all.

To uphold what has been elevated or newly made, we must consider the value of citizenship.  In America, where power is determined by the People, whom we do not call the “masses” and rather, the People, even the economy is an association which is built from the bottom up.  It is too the middle out and the top down, for in every direction of space is discovered the activities and their modes, the transactions and their contents, the ideas and the application.  In the economy could be discerned many principles in action including those organizational notions, which while today may be added to in new forms, or adjusted for adaptivity, even those established and past could once again reach popular use again were the notions be the right ones.

One of the key notions in our American economy is that of ownership of property.  In that all may own and possess property, and so all do, the power by the economy in the ownership of property and assets is so distributed across our democracy.  It is true that not everywhere in the world is this notion welcomed, for that adoption into other social structures may yet be inappropriate or in other cases premature.  The ownership of property and assets, including those intellectual content currently debated, locates power to individuals, organizations, and places, and constitutes the enactment of trust, which will be founded again if such as neo-insurance be discovered.

To touch upon an alternate future proposal, not my own, but suggested in another article in the same issue, there is reason to consider generating a baseline economy in addition to what we already have as a scaffolding for what exists here.  What exists includes currency and its exchangeability, it includes supply protocols, it includes the freedom of travel and mobility, ie. transport, and it includes the necessary basic supplies as well as border control.  This matter of spontaneously bootstrapping a foundation midair is quite urgent when considering that states of exception could nevertheless find us suddenly.  This is one of the items I am working on currently.  My response to this proposed includes the writing of a manual, with which basic supplies in its chain network could be traced and tracked down, added to a locale’s portfolio or removed, with a category of contacts.  It is the concept for a baseline supply chain.

It would be wonderful to reach notes concerning the items in the agenda of my proposal, however in this shorter letter of an acknowledgment of question, I wish to address the more general points.  In the history of America, which gives us the invention of the “company”, what is important today is to not focus purely on the title of “inflation” or even “stagflation”, but to concern ourselves with the idea that while companies had coalesced and separated over longer periods of time as decades, it is possible today as an individual citizen to participate in more than one company, including to start a company, to participate in a company, to see the merging and separating of a company, and more, in a shorter period of time.  The important object to maintain on the horizon is that productive and positive outcome of companies.  The outcomes in particular cases and the general outcome consist not of merely an added-to content, but rather of a value that grows and participates in the gross product across a company or across companies in the society itself.

To return to the notion of “organizational”, and how that adds to our understanding of ourselves in face of others who arrive here and others who perceive us in ways unexpected, we could examine the organizational events that effect outcomes, and then both outcomes considered effective and in alignment with the thematic ideas current at a time, or rather aside from the majority of affairs.  The idea that there could be overall pictures has of course been about since before the times of the more recent great presidents, yet that guidence is continued nowadays by international general picture is also a fact to be acknowledged.  The picture that many Americans would find relevant, even directly so, are associated with not only affairs and consensus at the international dimension, but perhaps even more effectively, the summaries of affairs current within the borders of America.  In this I would simply point out that internal affairs and external affairs are maintained in a balance.  From within the balance is the possibility and opportunity for the discovery of roles by not only individuals but also organizations and companies, as well more temporally determined associations, such that the coherence becomes possible across the population which is the American citizenry.

The recent call to recognize some inner actions and their results as “covid” or “Covid” or “COVID” or “COVID-19” - such has become a private interest of my own.  I would delimit my interest, I think, to the notions of “extravertive” versus “subjectivational” - the orientation of such events interests me as journals will be consulted concerning this medical topic.  It could be foreseen that on the long term, the matter would raise some controversy, however that it comprises an international cooperation in which resolution for such issues could be discussed and found, such nevertheless templates a method in which success has generally been agreed upon for a mode for determinations, judgment, and action, by a rather larger and not completely coordinated group as medical professionals, lawmakers, as well as politicians.  If this large scale consensus someday in unrelated ways lead to health reform or addition to the codes of law, we would all be rather surprised at the positive outcomes.  However, for now, into the future we must maintain course, being at once willing to adjust to correct as necessary.

But to return to the affairs of our own country, the recent decades did see a heavy focus on the matters of The Economy.  Our various outputs in products are of great pride to our newer civilization: having been born into an abundance which was never fully available to most in the world, it is of our understanding that abundance is a quality to life that should be assumed wherever possible.  It remains out of reach to many that such quality were to be promoted, not only due material cause, but also due religious and philosophical ideas reigning where they live?  In any case, that yet reach adoption by spirit and soul is too due that the generative reality actually belongs here, in this land and people, in particular.  The generative impulse born of the abundance and natural freedom discovered in America rends a certain admiration and excitement all across the world, that this here did find a discovery so hoped for for centuries - this then is a reality we must continue to maintain, but too investigate and examine just what the essential bases were, that lead to such as it is.

From what did the principles of the American Economy spring is a natural question which is relevant to the answer to the question which was raised.  What is it that will guarantee the upholding of structures in events and activity, in products and output, in relations and alliance, should we find it possible and then did raise what was proposed in my outline?  The secret lies in the secret of insurance, the idea that trust is created and maintained for it is built slowly and with certainty between the individuals involved in the agreement and the making of that which we hope towards.

Essential to American ideas on insurance is the concern common to communities everywhere, whether geographically located or spanning across the lands.  It is the notion and actuality of trust.  That trust was not initially discovered at the same time as currency is a fact which is not often considered, and it is the real truthful actuality that provides that trust can underlie common activity even before monies in investment are considered.  Yet, currency today is founded within the notion of insurance such that the reality is inclusive of the systems of currency allowing for their exchange is the foundation of exchange in goods and services.  Moreover, insurance often has for its “packages” association with fees which are rended in currency.  That trust was within the originating dimension, ie. trust was precursor to insurance, means that trust is intrinsic to the activity of building for societies, even at the scale of nations.

Trust is founded as intrinsic in the relations between people, including not only within group, but also between different peoples of different lands.  We could easily recall that in trade, the exchange of goods then also began in mediated trades using gold and silver, which then also could be done in coinage, paper money, as well as technologically based currency.

In any case, the essential point concerns the relation between trust and labor wherever the question concerns how to value and qualify the production for output, this including even the creation of a highway or a bridge, and a digital network spanning globally.

Truth is that today there is more kinds of work than before, and often types which could not be readily identified or described.  To understand the consequence of what this means, we must understand the reality that labor is never rended anymore for merely the acquisition of currency.  In most cases, we find that enjoyment of the work, value of contributing, and excitement of action are all types of social engagement which we crudely describe as labor.  As we motion our nation’s peoples into the future, we discover that the people find themselves engaged in more work than ever before, or at least activity which should be qualified thus, and all these new types of work are discovered through experimenting and development, and are all equally novel and worthwhile.

Today’s dilemmas include that question of the stimulus injection of cash into the economic equation.  It is the case that many “workers on the web” who reward society with discoveries find that outcomes are uneven and irregular.  Sometimes the unexpected emerges which is positive in a large way, and then we know there is a “eureka!” moment where we have all benefitted.  Buckminster Fuller once commented in one of his books that all should be given a subsistance amount for that even if only one in ten thousand makes a discovery every once in awhile, then all will benefit and discover society improves.  This is because freedom underlies all our creative discoveries, and freedom requires time and space, as creation requires patience and curiosity.

The investment we make today is a vestment into the future.  The components of a vestment into the general good of society includes education, experiment, analysis, as well as finally formalization, such as into a company or even a general company.

Recently, the emergence of hyper level of activity at the dimension of company and company is founded on the search for “solutions”.  There are, for instance, new types of persons considered for staff, new types of activities being inquired upon for companies’ benefits, new forms and contents of dialog, and optimistically, also new products and perhaps social outcomes.

So, when considering a complex agenda towards finding positive values for a society as great as the American Society, we include our consideration for the general economic and societal equations.  It is at this point that the notion of trust returns with significance and critical value.  It is never known ahead of time what principle was the sole guiding principle for the increase in quality of life, that is often discovered in retrospect.  It cannot be known ahead of experiment and analysis - for instance, how should we know the particulars concerning how to assimulate new types of employees before the trials of engagement and common activity occur?  Or how it is possible to carry out a large scale project that is without adequate currencies in working capital prior to the ingenious budgeting requiring many individuals’ efforts?

Thus the sequence of events in order for common engagement are communication, engagement, and coordination.  Through the spanning awareness is discovered many internal relations between comparable activities, and all activities within an economy upon common principles should find themselves comparable.  In this light should we consider a complex agenda proposing positive actions and positive outcomes into future time: within the new economy we find ourselves normal, towards the creative economy America will continue to motion.

I hope you and your office find my remarks in acknowledgment of your acute question concerning how the future could be maintained post initialization of projects satisfactory.  It is the case that many works are already ongoing, that my proposal includes specific ideas of applications is yet reaching mid stage of development, however that design continues therein lies my hope that my contributions and the related contributions of fellow Americans should prove themselves into the future.  Thank you very much.
